The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) in Tokyo, Japan, has officially recognised UFAG Laboratorien AG and added the laboratory to the list of approved foreign laboratories. The service laboratory’s certificates of analysis are now recognised by the quarantine stations of Japanese Customs and form part of the approval process for food and food additives, among other things.
