Training at UFAG LABORATORIEN
Swiss Certificate of Competence (EFZ) laboratory technicians in the field of chemistry are responsible for the practical implementation of scientific investigations. They manufacture chemical substances or investigate these substances using analytical methods. The work requires an interest in scientific processes, mathematical questions, pleasure in experimenting and the ability to work with computers and electronic devices.
The apprenticeship lasts three years. As part of the apprenticeships, you will learn how to investigate foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals using simple wet chemistry methods and the latest instrumental analysis techniques.
