The infrastructure

The modern and employee-friendly facilities and state of the art equipment make the company attractive for qualified employees, both domestically and from overseas. The region is in the centre of Switzerland and has very good transport communications. In the expansions which took place in 2008 and 2013, the architecture, the infrastructure and the interior design have been adapted to meet the requirements of the employees and processes. Laboratory rooms flooded with light, separate offices and additional facilities with a modern design contribute to the general well-being and enable optimum levels of performance to be achieved in the workplace.

The design concept in the laboratories has been laid out so that laboratory workspaces and writing desks are typically spatially separated by a lightweight partition wall with windows. Because the amount of effort needed for documentation in analytics is very high and takes up a large proportion of working time, a quiet zone in the writing area has been created to enable you to concentrate on carrying out this work. For each laboratory, the equipment has been chosen to provide support for the working processes. Weighing stations and cabinets for chemicals, acids, lyes and solvents have been distributed so that the journeys between them are as short and make as much sense as possible.

People need to take a break as well. Whether it is just to get a breath of fresh air, or to converse with your work colleagues. A large and modern coffee bar is located centrally and has direct access to a summer terrace which is known as the “Höfli.”
